Isn't JLPT the day before?
I thought I would just get the plane in the evening after the exam finished.

Oh yeah I forgot I ought to get a hotel :/ I wonder if it would be feasible to get a flight on the day the course starts but maybe not...
I understand why all JET conferences and things are in Kansai and Tokyo but I wish like, randomly once every three years they would be like: "And this year the Mid-Year Chaos will be in Sapporo/Kagoshima/Somewhere-else-far-from-Tokyo/Kansai so you can 共感 with the 苦しみ of your less-centrally-located JET hulemdos. 4649"

I thought there was like a place for us to stay or something. We're talking about getting a hotel on Sunday night if you have to fly over the day before (because last year's schedule was like Registration at 11AM, and that ain't possible for me unless if I want to be late). The rest of the stay should be already reserved.

What くもMehve said I've flown out from Oita early in the morning to go to conferences and things in the past, so it may be doable, but I've never been to that place with the Lake and NOTHING ELSE before so I'm not as confident about finding my way around and getting there on time. I'll have a chat with American CIR

It kinda looks like it would be easiest for me to shinkansen it to that place with the Lake and NOTHING ELSE... If it's about five hours, with the time it takes to get to an airport, getting there early for check in and stuff... It wouldn't be all that much faster to fly. And then I wouldn't have to get a hotel on Sunday.

Oita is united with its brother SHIKOK in suffering from shinkansen-lessness.

Hence why there is an Oita-Mikan Land TV show.
Let's cry on a ferry together, sometime.

I think it's called 大恋愛 (but I might be wrong since I haven't been watching TV this past week). (please note, don't look that up with that alone on google images, way too many love scenes - I guess Oita and Mikan Land need to get together) Yay! My husband is doing well! Did you have any?? I will make sure to do that during the 6-hour train ride over. Ahahaha.

Sooo weirdly enough my supervisor never received an official email, but I just got one about what textbooks we'll be using, so I guess I'll be taking the course with you all!
(I'm one of the that place with the Lake and NOTHING ELSE CIRs, for what it's worth)
EDIT: If any of you all need to leave that place with the Lake and NOTHING ELSE a day later, I can provide you with a place to stay. (Unfortunately busy before the course starts)

I am too shy to ask to stay with you (plus I'll probably get a hotel with American CIR if I go to that place with the Lake and NOTHING ELSE the night before) but I am happy you got into the course and am looking forward to meeting you! Edit - I literally just saw that you weren't offering a place to stay before the course starts. How do I read.

Could potentially work something out, though, my place has been a hostel for the past two weeks

Is your balcony looking onto a carpark too?
You know what you shouldn't do? When hanging up your washing, don't briefly balance your laundry basket filled with underwear on the rail of your balcony on a windy day, because it might then fall over, causing you to then have to race down into the carpark to try and gather all your pairs of knickers and praying to God that no-one saw what happened and also praying that none of your knickers fell onto someone's car roof.
...not that... not that that has happened to me or anything.
