This is one thread I do not want to lose, for mainly selfish reasons, when the old site goes down so here it is again for your pleasure.
right, this thread is mysomewhat half-assed
attempt at 連携ing the efforts and work of the CIRs involved in doing
translations on ports, cruises, and all that related stuff along the Sea
of Japan coast.
i do a lot of the translations and checks for the Port of Kyoto in
Maizuru City, so i'm looking at your guys who are in places like Toyama,
Akita, Otaru, Sakaiminato, etc, but basically anyone involved in
anything to do with cruises, particularly Princess Cruises (incl.
interpreting) and Northwest Pacific Region Cruises.
i realise that this is kind of a long-shot to try and pool our
resources and make things 統一 and looking good, but please lmk if you
have anything to contribute. i will try keep this OP updated with your
posts and suggestions

the port at the city is the Port of Sakaiminato. i think this is also
steadily becoming the norm, despite the usamatropolis Port Authority saying otherwise, however their English isn't something i really want to use as backup)
