I was wondering how many of you all have to fill out 目標管理シート or something similar. I heard others do it but i thought it would be cool to have a poll. (feel free to answer if you are retired as well!)
In my case, it is just a goal sheet that we fill out within a couple months of the start of our contract and then revisit it 6 months later
We talk it over with our supervisor, they give input, then we have an interview with 補佐 to go over the sheet (that we send in in advance) and talk about how life is, if we need anything both at work and in general
(i always talk with 補佐 for like 30 full minutes... everyone else takes no more than 10 0x0)

We do a 課長面談 every few months
Except
The last time they did them for the office
They rescheduled mine
And completely forgot about it :)

I submitted my 目標シート to my soup last Friday but he hasn't talked to me about it so far. Apparently I will be having an interview with my 課長 at a later date to discuss it but I'm not sure when it is. I think it's supposed to be before they give me the re-appointment papers or something?

I have the sheet and had one interview when I filled it out, but I did that for the first time last month... so I have no clue if they'll actually follow up on it and do another interview to check my progress in the spring, or whether it was just a sort of empty gesture. WE SHALL SEE

I did something like every three months for a while and it just seems to have been abandoned
I never have formal talks about my job with my soup or boss, including about recontracting or anything else. Everything is casual and is like a 5 minute chat at my desk if it even happens
While throwing out garbage with coworkers: "Oh yeah btw I think I'd like to stay another year" "Oh yay, nice!" DE OWALI

I honestly don't think my ka cares whether I exist or not (mushiro preferably not?) - i was the one who sat my kachou down when i wanted to discuss with him the possibility of doing more on my job, and if not please help me do the transfer thing... so yeah eien ni i'm the one who approaches that side

I didn't have to do one but I poked around in my pred's files and saw that he had one.

I wish I had to do one.
Or at least I just wish my job had more oversight and guidance in general.

you could ask to do it? (that is one of the reasons i started this was so people who dont have it can learn of its existence and bring it to their offices potentially)

So I just had a very hurried interview with my kachou and soup to discuss my 目標シート. (Seems like because both my soup and kachou are new, they didn't realise/remember that I was supposed to have this interview before I get my recontracting papers. Which I find rather odd considering my soup was the one who had previously told me about the need for this interview when he first gave me the 目標シート to complete but whatever.¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
It was pretty casual, with my kachou just reading through my 目標シート and making some comments on it and asking me how I was enjoying work and life here. We also went through the other sheet which asked stuff about my performance, whether I had been late to work, took time off due to illness etc, though he didn't fill it in in front of me - I guess he's going to do that later. Then the interview was over, it was all pretty quick!
(Also, seems like there will be another similar performance review in June next year.)
