Hey y'all.
I've just had a chat with my boss about how we've just had a few requests to have YOUCHIEN/HOIKUEN visits. Obviously until now, there have been limitations due to COVID-19, but they're becoming stricter to the point where I might have to keep children occupied for 30min-1hr without them being able to do more than sit, stand, and wave their hands essentially.
Help.
Does anyone have a few games and songs for 5 year olds to do that doesn't involve much motion? I can think of maybe HSKT, Simon Says, and I have some picture books, but they're going to be quite difficult for the kids to see from a proper distance and you can forget about a projector from ye old days.
sorry for the worries.

You've got a good start though with HSKT and Simon Says. Other songs I would recommend would be BINGO, Old MacDonald Had a Farm (do animal/hand movements), Finger Family. I also like to do Itsy Bitsy Spider and 1-2-3 Bananas. Depending on your surroundings you could play "I Spy" with colors. Teach the kids to say "I spy something (color)" and the other kids have to try and guess what it is. If the school will allow a little movement, Duck, Duck, Goose is a great game to do with that age. Also Heads-Up Seven-Up. If you are allowed to play music, you could also teach a fun dance. I hope this helps! I'd be interested to know how your visit goes. Good luck!
