Hello! Like always, it is ESID, but I would say for me, it's
Japanese→English translations (85% of the time)
English→Japanese translations (15% of the time)
When I do English→Japanese, I will also always get my colleagues to check it for me.
Some of my colleagues know English too, so sometimes they will do the English→Japanese translations first, and then get me to check them.

I'd say I'm an exceptional case and we have multilingual things going on quite a bit. The other languages tend to be me getting something from another city or finding relevant news so I tend to ENG translate that and then summarize it in JPN because I simply don't have the time to do everything into JPN and then it gets double tricky b/c there's a lot of words I know that I just can't explain quite right to my office.
85% JPN->ENG
8% ENG->JPN
3% GRM->ENG
2% Using FRN an intermediary language
2% Other->ENG

In my case, it's maybe:
- JP->EN 90%
- JP->FR 5%
- EN/FR->JP 5%
(And a cheeky EN<->FR once in a while... I once retranslated my own translation, hue)

i am at like 98% J=>E
I have coworkers at both offices that understand English who get tasked with E=>J that i will sometimes help them with the english nuance or do an overall check (but at main office my cotranslator usually does the WAYAKU and my soup checks her work)

For me it's probably about
40% JPN -> ENG
60% ENG -> JPN
Most of the time I'm translating into Japanese it's just for the benefit of my coworkers, so it doesn't have to be perfect. If it's for something more official or a presentation then a coworker will look over it and correct it for me.

(fyi the abbreviation for the japanese language is JPN. i strongly recommend against using jap bc of the history behind the word)
pre corona i did 50/50 jpn->eng and eng->jpn but now I'd say I do 80% eng->jpn, mostly translating correspondence from sister cities. i also have to translate everything i write in english or chinese for our SNS into japanese for the office to kairan
