Question in particular for any CIRs who are in charge of managing their city's English website and/or putting out information in English on behalf of the city: how do you decide what Covid-19 info is no longer necessary / when it's okay to delete Covid and vaccine related info? The deetsI'm the tanto of the multi-lingual pages of Tall Cape, therefore I ultimately decide what information will get translated into various languages we support and posted on the city's official website I'm looking at our Covid-19 articles (here if anyone wants to see what I mean: www.city.taka no space saki.gun no space ma.jp/docs/2014021500034/) and realizing that a lot of the info is outdated, now that the City has changed who can get vaccinated, how to go about getting the next vaccine, etc. so basically the entire section probably needs overhauled. I need to double check, but I think regular people aren't able to get the vaccine anymore, right? Uness this is a city by city thing. If that's true, does that mean it's better to delete the pages regarding the earlier vaccines? I'm gonna also spinach with the part timers who translate the info I put out and kakarilong, and see what they think, but was curious if anyone else here has anything to share too as it might come down to me making the final decision

Is it possible for you to contact the health department in your office to confirm what information should be kept? I was in close contact with our then covid division when I was in charge of the website as a CIR, and I would confirm with them the most current information/what they wanted me to keep.

I can definitely find out their number and try calling them about it~

So I started doing the thing
I presented the following plan to Kakarilong who was like "yep pls doing":
- delete the ~11 different Covid-19 related pages we have up currently
- restructure/organize them into ~3 pages instead
1) Vaccine information. Briefly outline the 4 different categories of people who can/can't get vaccinated, how to make a reservation, what to bring to your reservation, where to call with questions. One issue we've had was the changing of the dates (how many months you need to wait between shots, when is the deadline to apply, etc.) so changing it simply to either currently available or currently unavailable, with the phone number to call for more info available under the inquiry section
2) Vaccine certificate for overseas travel purposes
3) the simple chart made by the city that illustrates what changes happened from 5/8, and how that affected changes in policy for the city (now that Covid has been downgraded)
