Hello fellow CIRs,
Is there anyone here that writes/edits newsletter articles?
If so, what topics have you written about, and how have you gone about getting interviews for articles?
Thanks!

I write an column for the 市報 once a month. It's entirely up to me what I want to write about, so I tend to write about something relevant to that month or just something I'm interested in. Like for August I wrote about the Olympics, and for September about Hamilton.
But it's all supposed to be my observations and thoughts. It's more of a regular column than an article, so sounds a bit different from what you're looking for. I don't do interviews or anything.
Although I did do one once, for the 国際交流協会's newsletter. There's a guy I know peripherally who wrote and illustrated a children's book to do fundraising for the Bear Origin earthquake. I thought it was a cool project when I heard about it, and thought it might be nice to highlight for the 国際交流協会. So I just messaged him on facebook and asked. But I did already know him so that made it easier I imagine.
