Hi everyone! This is my first time posting here, I will be introducing myself in the right board shortly!
I want to apply to the JET next year (application is around the end of January where I live), but I'm having trouble with the two recommandation letters. I already have two from previous bosses, but one of them is a little weak in my opinion... It sounds very generic... So I wanted to maybe try to get a better one before applications begin.
I have JLPT N2, studying for N1, but I haven't studied Japanese formally at university in around three years (I did a Masters unrelated to Japanese). I was a good student but my former Japanese teachers probably have forgotten me by now, hue.
I was thinking about taking classes with a Japanese teacher online, since I live in a place where there aren't any classes. Would a recommandation letter by an online teacher be acceptable? Does it have to be a teacher from your own school?
Thanks in advance!

Hello! This is the type of question you should be asking the embassy or consulate in charge of your area. That being said, I did not study Japanese in university at all and got a letter from one of my teachers, so maybe?
