Is this how H E Y gets his stars? By posting the same thing multiple times in like every single thread?

Well you can tell by the way I use my star I'm a woman's star, no time to star. Music loud and starring stars I been starred around, since I was star.

This is legit actually.
Click post the 1st time and it won't load so keep clicking it to make it post faster, but then the system registers it as multiple posts

Apparently our phone rings are different but I can't really tell them apart. Just kidding we just had a long ring and it's maybe 外線. I /know/ I don't sound like a native but I've repeatedly had people tell me they can't tell it's me on the phone, which means people just think I'm an idiot Japanese person who can't hear their gd name. For anyone else's reference, here's what's on my 電話対応 memo copied from what my coworker says:

i only noticed this thread but this is great. i also realized, there isnt really a set way. i just go with my mood. if i feel like saying my name, i do (always first name though becuase my last name is my dad's name and.. no). i always wonder if ppl think its my last name.
i also never bother to ask again, and usually pass to a coworker going "whoops sorry couldnt tell who it was" - no one can actually hear the long company names either sometimes.

ホリーシェット...I realised how slack I am on the phone, When I can`t catch the name I am just usually like "Hey man, phone for ya, Line 1, down here buddy". I will start to put more effort into getting their names!
We do a 昼当番 which one person is on duty of taking all phone calls...I hate it because everyone is silent in the office and I feel like my phone skills are being picked apart by everyone listening in silence, well I am used to it now though.

Over here instead of saying 今日一日お休みをちょうだいしています・休暇を頂いています we say 一日不在にしております, etc.
I don't remember why, but I think it had something to do with taking a day off possibly being KOJIN JOHO, or maybe it sounds KAKKOU WARUI if were taking days off

出た。 The Japanese invisible line between "private" and "public" life. I don't understand. Who decides what is private information and not private information? In any case, I think in this day and age, it isn't actually POSSIBLE to maintain a secret life or a life separate from your "work life". Or maybe it's just me.

I'll add 一日不在にしております to my list. Me answering the phone in action goes: can catch name and/or office and person is there→"it's for you and something about 観光" can't catch name and/or office and person is there→"it's for you" person is not there temporarily→"席を外しております..." trail off and wait for them to give further instructions any scenario not mentioned above→"少々お待ちください" and hand the phone to someone with a pleading look

if you want to be extra nice, you can also say (when the person isnt there) 折り返しの電話させていただきますか? but i avoid this like plague becuase it means taking down their office plus name plus 用件 and phone number. UGH

I like the highly apologetic "~まして" plus trail off which puts the ball firmly in their court.
