Heya I got a BBQ event coming up in a week and I've been asked to have some back up activities for if it rains and we have to hole up in a cramped コテージ at this campground. Outside we're just going to play ultimate frisbee, but inside I'm drawing blanks on what to do since we can't do anything too active with the space restrictions. Also the attendees are going to be some japanese people and then a bunch of foreigners with differing levels of english and japanese (worst case scenario: some might speak barely any of either). so I need something easy, fun, and requires minimal talking and I'm losing it trying to come up with something hue
any ideas would help, please and thank you flembds

Info wanted plz:
1. How many people do you think will likely attend, even if it rains? 2. What are the age demographics of the participants? Any kids? 3. How long is the event iself? Like how much time do you need to fill with activity ideas?

Board games like Jenga or card games like Uno might be good.

Like how much time do you need to fill with activity ideas? 1. about 40 lmao we're cancelling in case of, like, heavy rain, but misting and stuff we won't. The cottage truly only has room for about 20 so we're hoping some people will still want to frisbee in the rain. so 10 people first floor, 10 people second floor for the indoor bit 2. some kids? I think like 3 maybe? I think no one older than like 40? 3. the current plan is like 45 minutes of game time? so like one big activity, maybe 2 small ones. and we have no budget for prizes haha

Board games like Jenga or card games like Uno might be good. I was thinking about that too, but I think we might not have yosan for it. (might just buy myself and lend them out for the event lmao)

any kind of multi-cultural quiz games possible? Even like true/false questions where you have people raise their hands to answer?
are team building exercises like the human knot out I guess? xD
water balloon toss could be fun, even in light rain
