I've been tasked with drafting up a 承諾書 for permission to post the faces and first names of each of our middle schoolers traveling to our sister city this summer on the Facebook Page run by the sister city association in America. They are having a heck of a time finding host families for everyone, so we are endeavoring to put a human face on the program and hopefully scrounge up enough beds for all of our kids. It's our hope that seeing the faces and messages of the kids who are traveling will tug at enough heartstrings over there that some more people will step up and agree to host :/

I am thinking of using this example as a base for our version of the 承諾書, but I've never done anything like this before and was wondering if there wasn't anyone on the good ol' CIRHP who has any experience with these documents?

Has anyone had to make something like this before? Does anyone have any tips, tricks, examples?

Our current tactic of not featuring humans isn't successful.

Or a 広報課?

Thanks! I ended up doing a bunch of research and writing like 2000 characters worth of info going into detail explaining the 理由 and the 必要性. Then my supervisor cut it down to like 500文字 that was basically like "hey we need this to help recruit host families, you in?"

I hope I lessened his workload at least a little bit by drawing up the initial framework, anyway! Haha. I might pursue a more general one to add as a permanent fixture in the application itself so that we can post pictures taken during the course of the programs on FB as well. If I ever get something polished up I'll be sure to upload it to the CIRHP somewhere so people can 参考 it!
