So my soup just got the above email.
Only those from small applicant countries are applicable.
In the event that you from a small country (look at you German, Singaporean, South African etc people!!!)
and you get chosen, please do share here so we do know that kind of feedback you can bring to the table from the rest of us too.
Anyway I told my soup I would liek to go.
We're gonna talk to the higher ups when they come back.
Hopefully they let me go/I get chosen! (It'll be 日帰り maybe apparently D: )

Are you sure Singapore isnt excluded because it is 英語圏？

CLAIR is apparently for a United Ireland.
On the list of countries they use really くどい official names for all of the countries like トルコ共和国 for Turkey or エジプト・アラブ共和国 for Egypt but for Ireland they just use アイルランド when actually Ireland is the Island of Ireland which is made up of two countries アイルランド共和国 and 北アイルランド。 If they are inviting people from the whole island fair enough.....I guess but the half of the Northerns would be British and not Irish (emotionally) and 100% would be ruled by Britain.

HAHA yeah i was like what's up with the names man.
Also, they just gave up for Singpaore.
Singapore is really THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE so it should be シンガポール共和国 but did they write that? NOOOO.

Ugh what I have wanted to go to the official CIR 意見交換会 since I learned of its existence and somehow have even been here long enough to be here when it comes around twice (it's every other year and was during my second year). But they probably won't pick me to go since the not 小人数部会 is not application-based. :<

From what I can gather about these is that if it's not an application-process thing, they pick people who
a. PCs know because they're PAs, were TOAs, presented previously etc.
b. PCs know because of former JET connections
c. PCs know because of AJET (name gets out there, opinion exchanges, etc.)
d. random
You have a couple of those filled so maybe if you're 積極的 you could make it??
