Just wanted to share something we did at our city's homepage recently, because it was unexpectedly easy to get done, and might prove useful for a lot of foreign residents.
Like most local government website's, Koriyama City has a foreign languages page on its website. This used to only show the (worse than グーグル先生 Translate) automatic translation service. However, since we were updating the multilingual guidebook for foreign residents to be accessible on the website, I proposed the idea to include a link on that page, since it's the page foreign residents are most likely to access. This gave me the idea to propose turning the page into a full "å¤å½èªãã¼ã¿ã«ãµã¤ã", which includes not only the translation service, but also links to the guidebook and all other multilingually-available documents and information that the city offers.
