Just curious, how many days off a year do you get?

We get 20 days a year PTO, and then any OT you have to work typically gets comped back to you in daikyuu hours. I know people who have had several dozens of hours banked. I think I have a little less than 3 full days of work at the moment.

While most CIRs (and JETs in general) get 20 paid days off (in addition to holidays), I know a couple people who unfortunately only get 10.
In my case I get 20 days off per year, and 4 "summer vacation days" off in summer (no obon off). For my first year they gave me 15 from August until April (so +20 when April came around). I need to work during golden and silver week because of events though.

I'm not a JET CIR, but I get 18 days PTO in my 1st year and 20 days after the 2nd. I get public holidays off too, without needing to use my PTO.

i came in a bit late so i only got 18, and i get 3 summer vacation days (this is the same as the ALTs, but they get fewer pto days than we do)
edit: daikyuu days vary based on CO, i usually get small amounts here and there every month or so (when summer comes i have a feeling i'll be getting more tho) but some of my co-CIRs have multiple days saved up

Oh yeah, I also get daikyu (but rarely, since I almost never work overtime) as well as the collection of special holidays

i get 20 days PTO, no summer vacation, and then daikyuu for eikaiwa cause those happen outside of my work day. Also between contract years, I can roll over a max of 12 days

Yeah, we have 12-day rollover here too, 14 days in your last year

Still can’t believe some people get 20 O—O
I started with 10 days + 3 days summer in my first year. This year (4th) I got 16 + 3 days summer. There is also byokyu and accident holiday (which currently people can use when they get corona, which is nice hue).
I also get daikyu if I work a full day (and "secret unofficial daikyu" if I do extra work that doesn’t add up to a day)

I get 20 now, but I got 10 when I worked for Love Knowledge.
But, the fact that I was off every day at around 4:30 and each week alternated between half fridays and fridays off kinda made up for that.
