CIR Experience: Incoming CIR

I've been placed in Hamamatsu! 😀 Tiny bit sad that I didn't get placed in Kansai after all, but I had a pretty strong hunch I'd be getting this placement from waaaay before, and I'm really glad it's such an accessible location. Bring on the dramamatsu. Nice! On the bright side, you're closer to Kansai than I will be from rock hand  I'm looking forward to experiencing a new place and making new hulemdos though~ That's rough Leilo :/ I know there is definitely at least one kiwi CIR leaving from Kansai this year so those placements definitely exist, but I guess we were more needed in our own respective placements haha. But yes, I am sure you will have a great time anyway, a newly created position sounds exciting!! |

I will however, almost certainly be 花よりお団子's 子団子 and the next in shachou's line of succession  I have scoured these forums to the death. |

So happy and excited about placements! I know Miami Consulate has to wait until Monday for theirs, so I'm grateful I know mine and can celebrate it already!

Wow I'm glad to hear such a rave review! Unfortunately I am not very knowledgeable about music and I never had much of a talent for playing instruments so I'm afraid this placement may be wasted on me, but I definitely do not dislike music so hopefully the aura of Hamamatsu will imbue me with a newfound sense of musical appreciation haha. I am pretty keen to get one of those harmonicas at some point though, they look so cool! But my neighbours might not appreciate me attempting to practice much  |

Just got my placement in Toyama-ken, Kurobe-shi!! Anyone have any info on the prefecture or city they'd like to share?  Kurobe is sweet, it's home to the Kurobe Gorge which is beautiful and has one of the "rarest" train lines in the country! You got a nice placement. I'm hoping I get contact from my contract organization soon, because the vague "Okayama-Ken" doesn't mention what city I'll be living in. I noticed that for the 2017-2018 year that there were no CIR's in Okayama City... is it safe to bet that I won't be the first? Haha. |

That's where I did my study abroad (Okayama Daigaku), and the area's got a lot of different stuff. Just be prepared to be bombarded with Momotarou everything every day. |
