Came home really excited to see my FBI background check results in the mail, whew! I had warned my mom via text beforehand as well as once I received it that you CANNOT open it or any mail for me today, because I know this is exactly something she would do.
I set the envelope down on the kitchen table and went to my room. Just as I was thinking, "wow you thought ahead for once, go you!" I hear the telltale "Hmmmm zztop what is this envelope from accurate biometrics?"
I started screaming "NO NO NO, DO NO TOUCH THAT", but it was too late. By the time I made it into the other room my mother was sitting with the package ripped open like a Tasmanian devil got a hold of it. asdfhlkjfa'dgl;dsklgsdjkl
There is no glueing this shit back together. I literally screamed.
"Oops was I not supposed to open this?" apparently she thought I was talking about an email (!?)
There goes 140$ down the drain for a rushed order, but the worst part is I have to take another morning off work to go again during a super busy week filling in while my boss in Japan
At least there's still time to redo it
