You'll be hot and tired after lunchtime one day of Orientation, thinking longingly of your hotel bed floors away as you sit in a room at the top of the Keio Plaza, surrounded by other new JETlagged CIRs. The room will suddenly go dark, plunging you into thoughts of a sudden earthquake-triggered power outage, but no -- light will return in the form of a disco ball rotating slowly above your head. The doors at the back of the room will open to reveal none other than -- ~*~SPARKLES~*~I'll walk in wearing my giant chartreuse/yellow/hot pink ruffly dress and throwing glitter everywhere, only to rip off the dress to reveal my sequined tuxedo complete with background feathers halfway down the aisle, whereupon I will find you, Honey, in the crowd to give you a single red rose.* The instant you touch the rose, all my sparkly knowledge will be transferred to you -- our eyes will lock in a moment of 以心伝心 that will be featured in dramatic solos throughout the ages. I will proceed up the aisle, bestowing my tidings upon our fellow ＴＲＵＥ CIRs, before reaching the front of the room, where I will turn dramatically, brushing those in the first row lightly with my feathers. Finally, I will sit as attractively as one can sit on a table provided by C.LAIR, fully prepared to speak with you about the wonders of literature and musicals and all things glitter, but instead I will shower you with wisdom about your new CIR 人生 as requested by our C.LAIR MC, whereupon you may ask questions to aid you in your journey to achieve your sparkly senpai's level of blinding dazzle.** I'll be here all week, my hulemdos.*** *may or may not be a plastic 100円 red rose **story may or may not be 99% fabricated ***you can track me down afterwards as I will be around for the rest of the afternoon (going to the 取りまとめ団体別ＭＴＧ, plus I will probably be hanging in the lobby post-Orientation/pre-my prefectural AJET's dinner thing which you are all welcome to crash if you so choose; also I'm planning to go to the fancy dinner on Monday night) |

I've been reminiscing about Tokyo Orientation all day:
+ the view
+ meeting other cirs
- jet lag
- boring KOUZA
+ a few of the KOUZA were useful and fun
+ Tokyo
- not really being able to enjoy Tokyo because of the jetlag and stress
- not being served any Japanese food at any of the meals at the hotel, WTF was that about??
+ despite the minuses it was pretty bants
