Hey everyone,
I was wondering if anyone had any idea of when the mid-year conference will be this year.
I'm planning on going to the states for a couple of weeks before the conference, then going directly to Tokyo.
I can't tell if the conference is the first Mon., Tues., Wed. of December or literally the 1st-3rd of December.
Anyone know how they determine the dates?

Yeah, in the 平成27度JETプログラム実施計画 document I have, it just says 平成27年11月予定.
Last year it overlapped with my SDC and Nov-Dec was literally a hell for me so I'm hoping that won't happen again.
Also in the same document, I see there's "JET プログラム意見交換会（CIR 部会）"... Does anyone know if this happened last year as well?

Honestly I think they just aim for late November and then take whatever time/place they can get when they make the booking for the venue. Also in the same document, I see there's "JET プログラム意見交換会（CIR 部会）"... Does anyone know if this happened last year as well? This is something that happens in alternating years, with one year being the CIR 意見交換会 and the other being the ALT 意見交換会. The last CIR one was two years ago so it's time for it to happen again. You can't apply for it or anything though, they just pick people. (I know because I wanted to go but they didn't pick me. :< ) |

You can't apply for it or anything though, they just pick people. (I know because I wanted to go but they didn't pick me. :< ) Oooh cool I didn't know about this. It says the venue is ブロックの主要都市, I wonder if Sapporo is considered the 主要都市 of Block 1 :x |

They published it in September or something last year, but my assumption is that they decide on the dates a lot earlier than that (booking the venues, etc).
I may ask one of the PCs at the PA kenshu at the end of this month.

So I was reading over the 実施計画 again and noticed under the 事業予定表 it says 中旬〜下旬. Kind of obvious I guess but still good to know?
I also want to know the exact dates ASAP to see if I can go home for Thanksgiving ><

Yikes that's a tough decision mdrs. Especially if you're a 1st-3rd year your CO might object to you missing Mid-Year Chaos since it's required (right?)...

CLAIR already told us that it would be in November so you're fine mucha. Mdrs' situation is sad though  even though Mid-Year Chaos is technically required I have heard of people missing it...would be a shame though |

Having Mid-Year Chaos in November kinda stresses me out cause we are supposed to be visiting our sister city in November and if I have to skip Mid-Year Chaos for a 2 day long trip to the middle of the U.S. ima be pissed.
