For what it's worth 例のあのホテル is run by far rightists. You can read their literature provided in the room. I prefer to stay elsewhere. I think I use Rakuten Travel more often, actually.
Though I also can't remember the last time I booked a hotel in Japan (not a real PA with business trips and lately all my traveling has been through yosakoi) so...-.-'

so like, what's the benefit of booking things through 3rd parties? I think sometimes prices can be cheaper, and also you can get points that you can use later for discounts. Also it's generally just easier to look through different options on sites like that? |

YAY!!! can't wait!!! <3 okay so this is an open call for a third person (female only hue sorry) to stay with us if you would like!  breakdown would be 7,200yen per person for 2 nights but without any meal plans. I picked to have a room on the higher floor because I like places with views XD also, this is only possible for people who's COs do not check what room you get etc etc. (ie. I don't need a 領収書 for my hotel as its included in "other expenses" unlike my plane ticket) |

so like, what's the benefit of booking things through 3rd parties? like what snell said, it depends on the third party. i have a rakuten card/account so booking there would mean i can use my points that i racked up to pay for my room if i want to. i usually use booking.com but thats only because ive used it for a while and so i am a "genius" member (hue) so i get special discounts and stuff. also this website lets you cancel at no charge quite close to the date, unlike direct bookings where you'd have to call the hotel or other ways which are a hassle. so i tend to maybe put bookings at several hotels to give myself several options first, then i cancel those i dont want. |
